Our Pledge

UP here, we take care of the places that take care of us. Join us in committing to making Marquette County a great place to live, work and play.

Once you’ve taken the pledge, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a $200 Love on Local gift card. Winners are picked on a quarterly basis.

I pledge to:

1. Acknowledge the cultural norms of the places I visit and be respectful of them. 

2. Be cautious when it comes to weather conditions, rip currents, and other natural forces out of my control.

3. Be nice, say hi, and simply slow down.

4. Pack out my trash and my dog’s waste, and help out whenever I see litter.

5. Stick to designated trails and campsites.

6. Adventure in alignment with Respect Marquette County’s Leave No Trace principles- showing respect to the land, wildlife, and those that you share it with.

7. Leave Marquette County better than I found it.

Support our outdoor spaces with a donation. We recommend a donation of $10 for every day spent enjoying Marquette County’s outdoors. You can donate to our partner organizations that manage trails or recreation land in the area.
