ORE TO SHORE
August 11 - More info Whether you register to ride or just want to watch, you'll definitely enjoy the epic Ore to Shore. This 42-mile race takes you along private-owned land and Superior shoreline, all throughout the historic towns of Negaunee, Ishpeming, and Marquette. 
TRAIL 50 ULTRA MARATHON

It’s no surprise the Marquette ultra marathon is ultra-tough. This course incorporates snaking single-track, steep climbs and rocky shoreline, featuring panoramic views from vistas like Sugarloaf, Top of the World, Bareback, and Hogback.
**Race options include 50k, 50-mile, and 100k.
CLASSICS ON THIRD CAR SHOW
August 18 - More info On August 18, your average Saturday has got some tough competition with classic cars and Third Base Bar. The Marquette Downtown Development Authority linked up with The Base for the second annual summer car show — and to top it off, all proceeds benefit the Women’s Center of Marquette County. 
HARBOR FEST
August 24-25 - More info End summer on a high note at Harbor Fest. Bring the family or invite some friends for a little bit of live music, craft beer and local food, and a whole lot of fun at Mattson Lower Harbor Park. 
BLUES FEST
August 31-September 2 - More info Blues Fest is back on the Fresh Coast for its 15th year of blues, food, and booze in Mattson Lower Harbor Park. This three-day festival is family-friendly and fun for all ages.
