Good overall conditions.  Rough in spots because of drifts and downed trees.

Groomers have been out, but be careful because of the large amount of snow we got.  More groomers will be out as temperatures are down.

Big Bay/550 Trails
  • Big Bay to Anderson Corner is groomed and in fair to good condition
  • Big Bay to Moose country trail is groomed and in fair to good condition
  • Big Bay to Marquette is groomed and in fair to good condition

    Plowed areas are getting bare - use caution.

  • Trail 5 from the 5-32 split has not been groomed
  • Trail 5 and 32 to Kate's Grade has been groomed, though there's bare gravel
  • Trail 18 has been groomed, though spots with bare gravel
  • Trail 82 has been groomed - fair conditions
  • Trail 14 has been groomed - good condition
  • Trail 8 has been groomed - good to fair condition

Trenary Northern Trails Grooming is happening minimally in order to keep the trail smooth and save the snow for the rest of the season.  Trails are icy, so please use caution. 3/22/26   x

  • Grooming for the 2025–26 season is ending due to thawing and inconsistent spring weather making trail maintenance impractical
  • Snowshoeing or crust skiing/biking recommended activities 
  • Celebrate Trails Day will be held on April 25. Think Spring!
*IOHT is a multi-use trail. Conditions can change quickly due to the other uses
