Summer may be simmering down, but September's event lineup is smokin'. Here are 6 can't-miss-events coming to Marquette next month.
Marquette Marathon & Half Marathon
Why sit around all Labor Day weekend and binge eat/drink, when you could run the Marquette marathon or half marathon (Sept. 1-2)? Exactly. This Boston Qualifier is both scenic and epic, including trails throughout 3 historic cities, elevation changes, and Superior shoreline coverage. Can't beat that. So what are you waiting for? Last day to sign up is Aug. 30. Register Now More Info

MCBW
The best week of the year is almost here. Marquette Craft Beer Week (Sept. 5-9) is a five-day celebration of Michigan beer and breweries in downtown Marquette featuring tap takeovers, food and beer pairings, pre-parties and more, all leading up to UP Fall Beer Fest, Saturday, Sept. 9. Full Schedule.
UP Fall Beer Fest
It's pretty tough to top UP Fall Beer Fest (Sept. 9) at Mattson Lower Harbor Park. There's something about a cold craft beer (or six) on a cool fall day that just warms your heart. Plus any excuse to start drinking at 1 pm on a Saturday helps. Wanna partake? We recommend buying your pass in advance because there's always a chance it could sell out.
