Moose Country Trails

12/30/25 UPDATE: We have had groomers out on trail 8 &14 to Marquette and trail 8 towards Michagamme. The groomer went out on trail 82 from republic to Ishpeming today and Trail 18 towards AMASA was done to the Moose country turn around. Trail 5 south to trail 32 and trail 32 to Kates grade were also groomed today. Trail 5 north towards Big Bay will be groomed tomorrow.

There are quite a few trees down that we have been clearing to get the groomers through. There are still lots of low hanging branches and face slappers out there that still need to be cleaned up. We are doing the best we can to get the trails open. Please Ride with caution as many of these branches that are hanging could create some damage or harm. We will get these cleaned up when we can but our main focus has been to get the trails open.

12/30/25   x
Trenary Northern Trails 12/30/25 UPDATE: Groomer operators were checking traffic levels and we had feedback from some drift busters and we will be looking into conditions tomorrow before we pull the trigger on grooming. Conditions are getting more favorable, but the snow isn’t settling fast enough with sleds avoiding the drifts and knocking the air out of them. At 16 thousand pounds, the groomer doesn’t float enough in soft deep snow and we dont have a second machine to self rescue. So bear with us as we constantly monitor and discuss amongst our operators on the earliest optimum time to safely hit the trail. Guaranteed, as soon as we all agree on a green light, you will have a smooth trail! 12/18/25   x
